Pavel, Jiří
Born in Plzeň (Pilsen) in 1926, deported to the Terezín (Theresienstadt) concentration camp in March 1943, to the Auschwitz concentration camp in Oct. 1944, forced labor in the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp after mid-Nov. 1944, Sosnowitz, death march to Opava (Troppau) in Jan. 1944, transported by train to the Mauthausen concentration camp, liberated by the U.S. Army in May 1945, returned to Prague, where he lives today.
